Lighting is always an important factor.
Make sure your subject is well-lit, and pay attention to the
angles and strength of the light. The better lit your subject
is the clearer your image is likely to be. If possible shoot
outside or turn on lights when shooting inside. Taking pictures
in bright environments provides a faster shutter speed
and more depth of field.
Therefore, the more light in your
environment, the sharper the image.
Pay attention to the
position of the basic source of light. Unless you want
your subject to appear as a silhouette. Just
make sure that you don’t
have a bright light behind your
subject while taking a picture.
Avoid low light. It is hardly possible to
take a good picture under
conditions of bad illumination. Camera phones have difficulty capturing details
in low-light environments. If the image on your
display seems too dark or
too light, try adjusting the brightness
level before taking the picture.
More advanced camera phones will
come with what is known as a night mode feature,
which unsurprisingly, is for taking shots in low
light and outside at night.
If you've got night mode on
your cameraphone, do use it.
Some camera
phones also come with a built in flash.
This can really lift a
shot and add clarity to it,
even if you’re shooting outside.
